We've put some books up today. Some are lovely and shiny and new, others we just hadn't put on our online bookshop. There will be more coming over the next few days but here's what's up so far...
I can vouch for the Sheila McGregor books. Either one has enough material to keep you going for years - if you could stop yourself getting distracted by other lovely books and patterns that is.
Hjaltland - Old Norse (read: Old Romantic) name for Shetland.
Halo - the oh-so-technical term given to the fairy like haze that floats above real Shetland wool, created by the extra fine fibres.
= probably 'the' most natural, sustainable fibre.... ever.
